goddamn it!
Apr. 20th, 2011 02:07 pmI had a follow-up post that I've been adding little bits to when I had a spare moment for about three hours. I tried to post it and the effing network ate it.
Summary: I'm giving up on Credo. They no longer seem like a cause I want to support, and they want to charge me $300-400 for phones that anyone else would give me for <$100, or even free if I signed up for a plan. They only charge NEW Credo customers $50 for the same phones, but the cheapest I can get them is $150-200 even if I sign up for a new contract extension.
So I'm going to get an iPhone. I just can't decide whether to go with AT&T (cheaper plans and GSM phones but reputedly bad coverage) or Verizon (more expensive plans, CDMA-only phones, but reputedly much better coverage).
I'm also thinking of canceling my landline.
